Disconnectors of the RD(Z) type are manufactured in accordance with TU U 27.1-37611511-004:2022, DSTU EN 62271-102:2016 and are designed to switch on and off de-energised sections of the electrical circuit under voltage of 35 kV and above, as well as earthing switches that are integral with the disconnectors.
The disconnectors are available in single-pole, two-pole and three-pole versions. The pole to which the actuator is connected is the leading pole. The actuators are designed to operate the disconnectors. The drive shafts of the main circuit and the earthing circuit rotate:
– manually by means of PR-2B drives;
– automatically by means of PD-14 motor drives (or analogues).

| Electrical insulation strength meets the requirements for disconnectors of 35 kV voltage class according to GOST 1516.3-96.
The leakage distance of the external insulation of disconnectors on porcelain insulators is: |
75 105 |
| Leakage distance of the external insulation of disconnectors on polymer insulators for pollution degree III – not less than cm | 125 |
The disconnectors are designed to operate under the following conditions:
– Altitude above sea level up to 1000 m;
– Ambient temperature ranging from -45 to +40°C;
– Average relative air humidity of 80% at a temperature of +15°C;
– Maximum wind pressure of 700 Pa (corresponding to a wind speed of 34 m/s) without ice formation;
– Maximum wind pressure of 140 Pa (wind speed of 15 m/s) when ice formation on the surface reaches a thickness of up to 10 mm.
– Maximum total mechanical load on the outputs of one pole (from connected conductors, considering wind loads and ice formation) is 500 N under the condition of its uniform distribution on the outputs.
The disconnectors are not intended for operation under severe shocks, vibrations, or impacts.
